Frequently Asked Questions

What size is right for me?

Depends on the function! Most area rugs for decent sized spaces range from 5x7 to 8x10 feet. A good amount of our customers ordering personal expressive pieces for their entrances or more intimate spaces tend to range from 3’ to 5’ feet. It's best to measure the desired space before ordering so you know what will make the most sense.

Are there any limitations on colors?

NOPE! The best part about your custom rug from Rugtomize is that you have full creative power to put any colors or designs to work on your floor!

What kind of file can I upload for my rug?

You can use a .jpg or .png file. For the best quality, a decent sized .png file is preferred. If your file type is something other than the two previously mentioned, you can click here to convert it to a .png file.

How soon can I expect my rug to ship after my purchase?

We take pride in our quick and speedy delivery of your rug, you should receive it in no longer than 3-4 weeks. We make rugs every week so it's likely your rug will take 1-2 weeks to make depending on where your order comes in our production schedule.

Do you offer custom sizes for your rugs?

Aside from the sizes we offer, you can request a particular size for the rug you want at a specified cost. Contact us if needed and we will be happy to help.

How do I keep my rug still on my floor?

Included with your order are non-slip pads you can attach beneath your custom rug. If you want to buy them on your own, you can visit this website for a full sized non-slip pad or you can Google 'Rug Grippers' to shop for small rug slips.

How do I clean my custom rug?

To keep your rug clean, it is best to vacuum as needed. For small stains we recommend cleaning with a damp cloth or with a rug spot-cleaning solution. Getting your rug cleaned by a professional may be necessary for any difficult stains you can’t remove on your own. To maintain the quality of your rug it would be best to use a dirt-repellent spray on your rug prior to usage, click here for more.
